Computing resources¶
The hydrodynamics tunnelling simulations require fluka and flair. Both are available on the Linux VMs, as documented on the use case page.
A complete environment for the project (including Python and PyCharm, access to files on EOS, etc.) is provided by the Linux Terminal Server VMs, for example mp-linux-ts-01.cern.ch. Refer to the documentation for more details (how to access the machine from inside or outside CERN, how to start the Desktop Environment, etc.).
